St. Joseph's South Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist - PRN/Pool to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in an acute care setting. This PRN role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve optimal outcomes. Acute Physical Therapist Pool/PRN Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve strength, balance, and functional mobility. Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge planning. Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient-centered care plans.
