Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a clinically supervised Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if not ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
