Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Program Manager specializing in Hyper-scale Data Centers. This position is a remote opportunity and can be based out of any of AECOM's U.S. offices.This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US were AECOM has an office._ Although the position is primarily remote periodic travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other business‑critical activities. Travel is expected to be occasional and scheduled in advance._AECOM is a leader in the global data center consulting industry with robust teams in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our teams around the world on high-profile, fast-paced data center projects for global clients. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with an opportunity for upward career mobility.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to play a critical leadership role within the AECOM US Data Center Practice. Candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, leading major proposal efforts, managing strategic client programs, and ensuring successful execution of high-value design projects.This role operates at the intersection of business development, client management, and project delivery, ensuring that client pursuits are competitive, programs are executed efficiently, and financial and operational objectives are achieved.The Program Manager will partner closely with executive leadership, design directors, client account managers, and discipline leaders to support revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across hyperscale and colocation data center programs.This position is ideal for a highly organized, business-minded leader with deep experience in managing complex A/E/C programs and supporting major proposal pursuits.Key Responsibilities: Provide program-level leadership across multiple concurrent data center design projectsMonitor program performance including schedule, budget, staffing, and riskIdentify and resolve program-level constraints impacting deliveryEnsure consistency of execution across multiple projects and clientsSupport Design Managers and Project Managers in maintaining successful deliverySupport business development and proposal writing for new pursuits.Lead preparation of major technical and commercial proposals, including: Go / No-Go coordinationProposal schedules and deliverable managementFee strategy coordinationStaffing plans and resource alignmentExecutive review coordinationInterview preparation and coachingCoordinate closely with Client Account Managers, and Technical LeadersImprove proposal processes, templates, and win strategiesSupport capture planning for strategic pursuitsServe as a key point of contact for strategic clients Participate in client meetings, presentations, and program reviewsSupport Client Account Managers in maintaining strong client relationshipsHelp identify new opportunities within existing client programsAssist in managing client expectations and overall client experience·Travel as needed for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits. Qualifications: QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Minimum 5+ years managing complex programs or major projectsExperience supporting or leading proposal effortsStrong understanding of A/E/C project delivery processExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong business and financial acumenAbility to manage multiple concurrent priorities Preferred Qualifications: 10 plus years of relevant experience.Direct experience supporting data center projectsExperience working with hyperscale or colocation clientsExperience managing large multi-disciplinary design teamsExperience with Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery modelsPMP certification preferredProfessional licensure (Architect, Engineer) is a plus but not requiredUS Citizenship Additional Information Relocation is not available for this role.Sponsorship is not available for this role.
