CNC Machinist

About the job CNC Machinist Position Summary Machine parts to conform to blueprints/drawings Duties and responsibilities The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons Independently setup at least one type of CNC machnine Operate machine/s while maintaining blueprint specifications Perform stability study of gauges used Load and edit programs as needed Perform initial inspection when needed Maintain a clean work environment Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed Performs other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications and Experience High School diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum 2+ years experience setting up and operating CNC equipment Demonstrated ability to setup some of the CNC machines Ability to use all relevant measurement equipment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English Ability to meet quality and productivity standards Ability to read blueprints Computer skills, intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail Ability to work apart of a team
