In this role as a Team Supervisor, you will drive the team to build strong client relationships, ensuring a trusted partnership that flourishes year after year. Your primary focus will be leading a customer-oriented team within a single H&R Block tax office, enhancing their seasonal tax operations. As a hands-on manager, you will mentor and develop tax office associates, delivering an exceptional client experience and attaining growth goals set for the office. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in managing multiple units in retail, restaurant, banking, or similar fields. A minimum of 2 years as a Tax Professional. What You Will Contribute: Collaborate with the District General Manager to create and execute growth strategies at the office level, enhancing community involvement and local partnerships. Support recruitment and interviewing processes for tax office associates alongside the District General Manager. Serve as the primary contact for escalated client service issues, ensuring resolutions are found. Oversee client scheduling to minimize conflicts and ensure optimal management of appointments. Lead daily office operations, ensuring timely completion of work by all associates with a sharp focus on quality and overall objectives. Foster an engaging team environment through training and coaching associates to uphold Service Standards and recognizing their achievements. Conduct daily team meetings to share important updates and information with associates. Create and manage work schedules for associates, ensuring accurate timekeeping and overtime practices. Prepare tax returns when necessary. Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to address any personnel or performance issues. Your Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a customer service-oriented or leadership role. Background in supervising or managing teams. Completion of H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns). Annual completion of continuing education and compliance with IRS and state requirements. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office. Ability to work independently while demonstrating resilience and a customer-focused mindset. Flexible schedule capability based on business demands. High school diploma or equivalent education level. Why Work with Us?
