Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/16/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: Work every other weekend with no call requirements Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends Float within facility and scope of practice as needed Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers Care for adult and geriatric patient populations Required certifications: BLS and ACLS Skills include Med/Surg nursing, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and isolation precautions/PPE Epic charting system experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred Holiday work required: if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if three holidays fall during assignment, must work two Full compliance required to start on time with maximum 7-day RTO Must submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract GA or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission Facility: This medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare system that provides quality patient care across multiple specialties.
