Computed Tomography Sales Representative ABOUT THE ROLE The Computed Tomography Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving growth and expanding Bayer's presence in the computed tomography (CT) and cardiovascular (CV) sectors. This encompasses injectors, contrast media, and cutting-edge software solutions. You will generate demand by leveraging strong customer relationships and your expertise in the healthcare landscape, while building connections with radiology leaders, procurement teams, and IT departments. In this dynamic position, you will lead sales initiatives, coordinate product promotions, mentor internal teams, and deliver compelling presentations. Your primary goal will be to enhance customer success by showcasing the clinical and economic benefits of our offerings while collaborating effectively with Bayer's diverse teams. The ideal candidate should be based in the San Diego area, as this aligns with our coverage territory extending from San Diego to Riverside and beyond to Indio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve sales and revenue targets for the CT portfolio within designated territories. Foster and maintain strong relationships with radiology leaders, CT technologists, and procurement to enhance Bayer's market presence. Identify key decision-makers and engage in complex buying processes within healthcare systems. Develop and implement tailored territory business plans to pinpoint growth opportunities. Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams to integrate CT solutions across strategic accounts. Generate quotes and support proposal processes, ensuring compliance and consistency. Share insights to strengthen collaboration with account managers. Utilize enterprise value selling tools to effectively meet customer needs. Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline information to support strategic planning. Make engaging presentations aligned with customer workflows. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing constructive feedback to leadership. Ensure seamless communication with downstream support teams to uphold high customer satisfaction. Adhere to Bayer's policies and regulatory standards in all professional interactions. Manage resources effectively and comply with all pharmaceutical regulations. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks a candidate who demonstrates the following qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A passion for advancing the U.S. Radiology landscape and enhancing patient outcomes. Bachelor's degree or higher in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field. A proven track record of meeting sales targets in a complex healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of CT technologies, contrast media, radiology economics, and decision-making dynamics. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with expertise in managing customer objections. Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce. Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Familiarity with Bayer's medical device and service offerings. 5+ years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in radiology or imaging. Experience utilizing AI tools generated by the company. Employees can expect a competitive salary ranging from $95,680.00 to $143,520.00, in addition to potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and more.
