Summary: Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role in scheduling for crucial Data Center projects? We are seeking a talented individual to fill the position of Schedule Lead at Meta. In this role, you will serve as the primary expert in schedule management, ensuring projects are delivered swiftly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with the Delivery Team and Project Controls Lead to anticipate and address schedule-related risks, provide actionable insights, and ensure that our projects meet their timelines effectively. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this dynamic, analytical, and strategic environment. This position will engage closely with various departments, including Site Project Management, Pre-Construction, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing, and Operations Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Oversee comprehensive schedule coordination and updates while proactively communicating necessary adjustments and collaborating with cross-functional partners. Identify and manage schedule risks, utilizing defined processes such as Risk Registers and health reviews. Lead all vendor and contractor schedule management efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals. Drive the development and evaluation of contractor baseline schedules during pre-construction, focusing on optimizing timelines for timely project delivery. Manage contractor Extensions Of Time (EOT), providing guidance for Delay Tracking, EOT requests, and claims, while making recommendations aligned with contractual obligations. Implement Proactive Risk Indicators effectively and conduct ad-hoc schedule analysis as required to support the program. Lead a team of consultants (if applicable) to ensure efficient schedule management across assigned projects. Be prepared for approximately 50% travel to various Data Center sites as needed. Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, Construction Management, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant technical field. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other scheduling methodologies and software. Experience in developing and managing an Owner's planning/scheduling program. Familiarity with Data Center, Infrastructure, or Construction programs that require complex commissioning specifications. Exceptional analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proven ability to lead complex project planning and ensure coordination among a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience in developing and implementing operational adjustments based on schedule performance metrics. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence strategic decisions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in identifying schedule efficiencies and aligning execution strategies to enhance schedule performance. Expertise in negotiating schedule changes and managing complex construction claims. Successful implementation of scheduling or project controls strategies within large organizations. Knowledge of complex networking systems and electrical infrastructure. Experience in managing a team of contingent worker schedulers.
