Mid-Level Back End Developer with TS/SCI Clearance

Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment that becomes final only after a successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed. This role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and will be performed onsite five days a week in San Antonio, Texas. As a Mid-Level Back End Developer, you will: Provide expertise in back-end software development activities. Utilize analytical skills to support process improvements and specialized studies. Handle analysis, planning, and development of requirements documents. Design and develop back-end architectures that support system capabilities and integrations. Create and modify RESTful APIs to enhance application functionality. Conduct database management, data modeling, and optimization. Assist in testing and validation to ensure system operability and compliance. Participate in Agile program increment planning and other activities, which may involve occasional travel. Minimum Requirements: Active TS/SCI clearance is required. Must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX five days a week as needed. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required (Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience). 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with proficiency in DevSecOps, microservices, and container technologies. 3 years of experience using bug tracking software (Jira). 3 years of experience testing web-based applications. 3 years of experience in software development programs or projects. 3 years of experience in back-end web design and development. 3 years of experience with AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux. 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab. 5 years of experience with at least five of the following technologies: Postgress RDS Exodus Python Luna Java Docker OpenJDK Ansible Packer Maven Kubernetes Red Hat Demonstrated skills in relational databases, RESTful API development, and system integrations. Experience preparing and conducting tests to verify system functionality and compliance with standards. Practical experience developing in a cloud environment. Experience integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience with Agile Test-Driven development. Experience in integrating into DevSecOps environments. 5 years of experience in CI/CD software development. Experience utilizing UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision). Experience in structuring data for integration into machine learning technologies or AI capabilities.
