Within our Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services practice, you will offer expert guidance on a comprehensive range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will be instrumental in advising clients on intricate accounting and financial reporting challenges related to both public and private deals, along with transformational business events that can significantly influence organizational value. The Opportunity As a member of the Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services Generalist team, you will be expected to advise multinational publicly-traded companies and private equity firms on a wide array of technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets topics. As a Manager, your responsibilities will include leading teams, managing client accounts, focusing on strategic planning, and mentoring junior staff. You will be accountable for ensuring project success while maintaining the highest standards. Your leadership will motivate and inspire team members, and you will recognize and leverage their strengths for overall team success. You will also immerse yourself in technology and innovation to elevate our delivery capabilities. Responsibilities Provide advice on technical accounting and financial reporting. Lead teams and manage client accounts effectively. Focus on strategic planning and mentorship for junior staff. Ensure project success while upholding quality standards. Motivate, develop, and inspire team members to excel. Coach team members and leverage their strengths. Identify opportunities that contribute to the firm's overall success. Embrace and drive technology and innovation in engagements. What You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. 5 years of relevant experience. CPA License or equivalent accounting certification in your home country for international hires. Hires from PwC affiliate firms must meet requirements for a PwC US manager role. What Sets You Apart Experience advising multinational companies on technical accounting matters. Involvement with IPOs, debt offerings, and private placements. Hands-on experience with acquisitions, alliances, and post-deal accounting. Knowledge of restructurings, restatements, and bankruptcies. Expertise in GAAP conversions and navigating accounting complexities. Proven experience managing teams within a professional services firm. Track record of innovation through both new and existing technologies. Ability to work effectively with large, complex data sets. Familiarity with digitization tools to enhance client engagements. The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
