This role supports both traditional classification / predictive modeling and emerging technologies such as generative AI and agentic systems, including intelligent document processing and other automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in machine learning, data pipelines, and model lifecycle management, with strong technical skills in Python, Spark, and modern ML frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), MLOps tools (Databricks, MLflow), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, DABs) practices is highly desirable. This position requires a balance of technical proficiency, business acumen, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure AI solutions. What You'll Do Design, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI systems for both traditional predictive models and emerging generative/agentic AI initiatives. Develop and maintain automated pipelines for model training, retraining, deployment, and monitoring across multiple environments. Implement load testing strategies to ensure optimal compute allocation and scalability for production workloads. Implement smoke testing and unit testing on ML pipelines and deployed models to improve reliability and reduce risk of failure. Conduct integration testing to validate end-to-end workflows and ensure seamless interaction with enterprise systems. Assist in building observability and monitoring frameworks for model performance, resource utilization, and anomaly detection. Collaborate with technical teams, and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with organizational objectives. Continuously research and integrate best practices for MLOps, generative AI, and agentic systems into enterprise deployments. Offer mentorship and provide technical leadership to junior engineers and data scientists to promote best practices across the Data Science and Machine Learning team. What You'll Bring Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in designing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models and AI systems in production environments. Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, SQL, and ML frameworks. Familiarity with best practices on emerging AI technologies like vector databases, generative AI, and agentic AI applications. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS), MLOps tools (Databricks, MLflow), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, DABs). Expertise in implementing load testing, smoke testing, unit testing, and integration testing for ML pipelines and AI systems. Experience with version control (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and peer code review processes. Knowledge of observability tools and performance monitoring for ML workloads.
