Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Purchasing Analyst in the Wayne, PA areasPosition Summary The Purchasing Agent is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, supplies, and equipment needed to support daily operations. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company purchasing policies. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase materials, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors Compare pricing, quality, and delivery timelines to ensure cost-effective purchasing Create and process purchase orders and maintain accurate records Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed Track orders and resolve delivery delays, shortages, or discrepancies Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers Coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 1-3+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience preferred Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and purchasing software/ERP systems Work Environment Typically office or warehouse setting May require coordination with receiving, operations, and management teams Standard business hours; occasional overtime may be required For immediate consideration, please call our Charleston Branch at 843-427-0890.
