Your Responsibilities: Process requests for patient health information in alignment with company policies. Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information. Stay updated with company and facility software tools. Inform management about workload changes and challenges. Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed. Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to prevent unauthorized disclosures. Manage patient health records meticulously. Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards while safeguarding patient records. Prepare new patient charts, gathering necessary documents from various sources. Organize medical records accurately and completely. Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records. Respond to requests for patient records from both internal and external sources. Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism. Assist with patient walk-ins when necessary. Support administrative tasks such as managing faxes, handling mail, and entering data. Meet productivity expectations as defined by the specific site. Schedule pick-ups as needed. Perform other assigned duties as necessary. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Ability to commute between locations as required. Willingness to work overtime during busy periods. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate medical records. Excellent data entry skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to shifting priorities. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Capability to respond swiftly to requests in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Qualifications: Experience in a healthcare setting. Previous work in production or metric-based roles. In-person customer service experience. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and customers on-site. Willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements. Our compensation philosophy ensures equity and competitiveness, with salary ranges based on industry standards. The estimated salary for this position is $15.00 - $18.32 per hour, with a compensation target of $16.00 - $17.00.
