Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Position Summary: CHRISTUS Santa Rosa is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN to join our established practice. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible and must obtain a Texas Medical License before starting employment. Practice Structure: You will be joining a well-established team comprising 1 MD and 1 NP. This position will involve replacing a physician and partnering with an experienced colleague to effectively manage a high patient volume across two locations: Downtown (at CHRISTUS Childrens Hospital) and Southside. Clinical Scope Mix: The practice is primarily OB-focused with opportunities for GYN surgery. You can expect a robust delivery volume due to an already established patient base, ensuring a strong start for your practice. Support: You will benefit from Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) support for high-risk consults, and a Nurse Practitioner will assist with the majority of well-woman exams, allowing you to concentrate on high-acuity cases. Surgical: Enjoy access to both robotic and laparoscopic surgical tools to enhance your practice. Schedule & Call Hours: The position offers a standard Monday-Friday clinic schedule, including designated flexible administrative time. Call responsibilities are shared with the OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) to promote a healthy work-life balance. Facility: The hospital features a Level IV NICU and 24/7 anesthesia availability, providing comprehensive care. Additionally, there are academic opportunities available for those interested in working with residents.
