Key Responsibilities: Oversee and optimize billing workflows, establishing key performance metrics to drive continuous improvements. Engage in daily billing operations while also managing team performance in a dual role. Ensure accurate claim billing and auditing on a daily basis, along with efficient electronic and paper insurance payment posting. Resolve claim edits and exclusions while demonstrating a solid understanding of billing guidelines and payer requirements. Manage prior authorization processes and actively follow up on unpaid claims for timely payments. Utilize your expertise in insurance appeals and manage patient statements, collections, refunds, and accounts receivables. Provide direct support to patients by addressing inquiries related to their balances and insurance issues. Lead the training initiatives for front desk and call center staff to ensure high productivity and quality standards are maintained. Perform additional duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in medical billing is required, with a preference for candidates with dermatology billing and coding experience or familiarity with EMA.
