Your role as an Intern will support our vision to create a strong bond between the brand and the consumer. College Programs Overview: Toyota's 12-week internship and co-op program is designed to build a strong talent pipeline by providing university students with meaningful, hands-on experience that can lead to future full-time employment. From day one, interns are empowered to make a real impact-taking ownership of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing innovative ideas. Through your experience at Toyota, you will: Gain new experience related to your major Practice what you learn in class through hands-on applications Get a better grasp of your goals and interests Network with professionals in your field of interest Develop a confident, professional image Learn about different companywide opportunities and initiatives What you'll be doing: Support and communicate vision, marketing strategies and campaigns to grow consumer audiences Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Media, Engagement, Corporate Communications, Social Innovation, Consumer Insights, Product Planning, Digital, and Retail Transformation to ensure integrated solutions and alignment Develop positioning recommendations and strategic plans for consumer engagement Review proposals and recommendations from stakeholders for strategic accuracy Leverage customer segment expertise to ensure brand messages resonate with target populations Analyze multicultural metrics, understand the story behind the metrics and translate the data into a compelling story for the department, business partners and stakeholders Assist in organizing and planning various department meetings with internal and external stakeholders Qualification Section Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation Must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota sponsorship for immigration-related employment (e.g., H-1B, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, TN, or F-1 OPT extension) now or in the future Minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher Within 1 year of completing a Master's or Ph.D. in a heavily analytical discipline Advanced hands-on experience with tools such as Python (NumPy/Pandas), scikit-learn, R, and/or SQL. Experience in using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques to solve problems. Exposure and familiarity with topics like Logistic Regression, Time Series Analysis, Experimental Design, Generalized Linear Models, Mixed Modeling, Multivariate Statistics, Large-Scale Predictive Modeling, CHAID/decision trees, Gradient Boosted Trees, Random Forests, and Neural Networks.
