CNC Machinist CNC Machinist Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm Pay Rate: $30-33/hr Location: Rosenberg, Tx Experience: 3+ years of recent experience The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to machine a variety of finished and semi-finished components, tooling, and fixtures. This includes reading and editing G-code, adjusting tool offsets, and working with automated systems such as CNC lathes, mills, and Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM). The role requires precision, technical skill, and a strong understanding of computer-controlled machining in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. CNC Machinist Job Duties: Set Up and Operate CNC machines (VTLs and HBMs) in accordance with specifications, drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions. Perform standard shop calculations related to dimensions, tooling, and part geometry. Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments to maintain accurate dimensional tolerances. Manual Machinist Preferred Qualifications: 310 years of experience setting up and operating manual machining equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documents (such as routers/travelers). Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Mechanical aptitude with the ability to edit G-code programs. Problem-solving skills; able to identify issues, analyze data, and contribute to group solutions.
