Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated CDL Driver and Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating vacuum trucks, waterblast trucks, and various commercial vehicles to and from project sites. Additionally, you will support our crews on site and ensure safe operation of vehicles and tools. Responsibilities and Duties: Safely drive and operate vacuum and waterblast trucks to and from job sites. Adhere strictly to traffic laws and regulations. Maintain accurate driving logs complying with company policies and DOT regulations. Complete vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance before departing job sites. Promptly report any accidents, near misses, and injuries to the on-site Safety Manager or Supervisors. Maintain and operate equipment safely, ensuring a clear understanding of its capabilities. Connect and disconnect hoses, unload materials, and clean trucks after each use. Promote a positive workplace culture focused on safety. Perform various other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Ability to pass a motor vehicle report. Basic verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation. Organized with attention to detail. Understanding of safety principles and practices. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Personal Characteristics: Follows direction and seeks clarification on responsibilities when necessary. Respects all individuals including co-workers, managers, and clients. Adaptable in methods to complete tasks efficiently. Motivated to learn and grow within the role. Demonstrates punctuality and readiness to work. Ability to work independently. Physical Abilities: Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable climbing ladders and stairways during shifts. Able to stay alert while seated for extended periods. Skilled in using hand and power tools safely. Able to perform inspections of sites, tools, and equipment. Understands and follows safety protocols, reporting incidents immediately. Training: Must complete OSHA 10-hour training within the first 60 days of employment.
