Current HCA employees and those employed by HCA in the last 6 months are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care based on the specific needs of the department, adhering to necessary standards of practice. In collaboration with medical providers and care team members, the RN will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. The RN will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while championing the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an unparalleled patient experience and improved clinical outcomes. Regularly assess patient pain to promote effective pain management, including follow-up assessments after interventions. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Document care delivery in the patient medical record accurately and promptly. Deliver exceptional care by responding to patient requests in a timely manner and proactively anticipating their needs. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Ensure complex medical terminology is translated for full understanding. Provide guidance on non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy lifestyle choices. Prepare patients and families for effective self-management. Required Qualifications: Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or higher must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
