Lead Applied Scientist for Code Generation

Job Description We are on the lookout for an innovative leader to take charge of our code generation model research and development initiatives. As the lead scientist for code generation models, your mission will be to pioneer the development of advanced code generation and manipulation technologies. You will guide an elite team of scientists in exploring new avenues to revolutionize code generation for widely-used programming languages, enhancing documentation, unit testing, code optimization, and user interactions with database systems through natural language interfaces. Responsibilities Research and Development: Perform comprehensive research on code generation methodologies, including code-to-code (Java, SQL, Python, etc.), documentation-to-code/code-to-documentation, and other innovative strategies. Model Development: Architect, develop, and train cutting-edge code generation models that adhere to the highest quality standards. Team Leadership: Recruit, build, and mentor a high-performing team of scientists and engineers. Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to integrate code generation capabilities into diverse applications and products. Innovation: Identify and pursue new opportunities in code generation and assess emerging technologies. Stay Updated: Maintain a robust understanding of industry trends and advancements in code generation methodologies. Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, or a related discipline with a focus on Machine Learning and Deep Learning, along with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related area with 8+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated publication record as a lead author or reviewer in reputable journals or conferences. Extensive expertise in image generation, computer vision, and deep learning. Proven success in leading research and development initiatives. Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures. Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
