Job Description

The Corporate Development Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the strategic initiatives of the AEG Corporate Development team. This position encompasses the entire spectrum of the Corporate Development process, from identifying potential acquisition targets to conducting due diligence and facilitating integration efforts. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A and Corporate Development, this individual will collaborate extensively across all AEG operations teams and also assist the FP&A group in delivering crucial financial insights and analyses. Brand Visibility / Marketing Support: Collaborate closely with the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and Marketing team to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at showcasing industry thought leadership. This will help attract leading providers to our platform. Responsibilities include creating original content for distribution through trade publications and participating in industry conferences and events. Target Identification / Screening Support: Work alongside the Director of Corporate Development and FP&A, along with the CDO, to strategize and implement plans for identifying acquisition targets. Responsibilities include relationship building, executing NDAs, and ensuring accurate tracking of targets for review by the Corporate Development Committee. Due Diligence / Deal Coordination: Assist in the financial due diligence process once a Letter of Intent (LOI) is signed, while supporting a cross-functional team in operational diligence. This role includes providing regular updates to the Corporate Development Committee on the status of diligence. Integration Coordination: Support the integration of acquired targets through two key stages: Back Office Integration and Common Platform Integration. Collaborate with the corporate development team to ensure timely and effective resource allocation for each stage. Financial Planning & Analysis: Contribute to the FP&A team through budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, business case analyses, and departmental reviews. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1 to 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Corporate Development, or Investment Banking. Familiarity with Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) is a plus. Strong proficiency in Financial Accounting and Financial Modeling. Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and earn the trust of key stakeholders. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Experience in healthcare-related business is a plus. Willingness to reside in Dallas or relocate.
