Loss Prevention Specialist

Position Purpose: The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding company assets by preventing theft and fraud while ensuring safety and compliance within assigned locations. Your proactive approach will help minimize financial loss through various measures, including: Identifying and addressing incidents of theft and fraud. Reviewing CCTV footage and exception reports. Monitoring the physical security of the store. Auditing Electronic Article Surveillance systems. Fostering a culture focused on shrink elimination. Additionally, this role requires you to: Prepare detailed and accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries. Preserve evidence for ongoing investigations. Engage with law enforcement agencies when necessary. Testify in both criminal and civil court cases as needed. Report any hazardous conditions to the Manager on Duty. You will carry out your responsibilities in a way that prioritizes safety for yourself, fellow associates, vendors, and customers, while upholding the company's integrity and operational objectives.
