Cannabis Delivery Specialist

Description Purpose The Cannabis Delivery Specialist is dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience across all deliveries. This role involves the timely distribution of products, ensuring that each interaction reflects our commitment to professionalism, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Core Responsibilities Transport products between the Deland facility and various locations throughout Florida. Adhere to established routes and maintain a punctual delivery schedule. Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times and updates. Load, unload, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles safely. Seek customer feedback, addressing any concerns they may have. Complete necessary logs and reports accurately. Comply with DOT regulations and safety standards. Deliver products promptly and safely to customers across Florida. Ensure all products are loaded accurately at the start of each shift. Demonstrate knowledge of cannabis products to effectively assist patients with inquiries. Conduct deliveries directly to customers' doorsteps, verifying patient IDs and processing payments. Utilize POS software for transactions efficiently. Provide timely updates to the delivery team and keep delivery software updated. Maintain compliance with state medical cannabis laws throughout the delivery process. Offer outstanding customer service to enhance the overall delivery experience. Drive business growth through excellent delivery services and foster customer loyalty. Meet inventory needs for each delivery. Stick to a set route for daily deliveries. Practice safe driving and handling of cash. Engage in grassroots networking to encourage repeat business. Exceed customer experience expectations through effective communication and product awareness. Qualifications Required: Strong passion for and understanding of cannabis and its culture. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial driver. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no violations). CDL license is highly preferred. Flexibility for last-minute, long-distance trips across Florida. Experience operating commercial vehicles and refrigeration systems. Capability to drive in different weather conditions and traffic scenarios. Ability to engage respectfully with various stakeholders. Excellent organizational and deadline-management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality outcomes. Effectiveness in managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Proficient in interpersonal communication and public speaking. Competencies In-depth understanding of the cannabis industry. Strong communication skills. Upholding ethical standards. Ability to manage relationships effectively. Personal credibility and effectiveness. Work Environment This position requires operating a vehicle with a valid Florida driver's license. Physical Demands Employees must be able to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands and arms, and may lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This position frequently requires long hours and work during weekends.
