Our customers range in size from small-scale butchers, grocers, and restaurants up to large-scale slaughterhouses and food processors. Driving a straight truck or a tractor-trailer, you collect materials from multiple customers along your route each day.You manage your route with an onboard computer (OBC) and also keep an up-to-date backup paper log for compliance purposes. Taking responsibility for your truck, you keep it clean and complete a vehicle condition report on a daily basis. You provide exceptional professional service to all customers and follow all laws and regulations. You love that you get to hit the road for a living, while still being home every night! MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR A ROUTE DRIVER Must be at least 21 years oldAuthorized to work in the USValid Class A CDL Good driving record In addition, you need the following: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkCustomer service skills Two years of experience operating a commercial vehicle in a route delivery setting and experience with truck hydraulics are preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
