Role Overview Join our dynamic Medicare Program as a Medicare Program Education Specialist, where you will be instrumental in developing and delivering engaging educational content to healthcare providers about existing and new CMS regulations. Your role will involve creating impactful educational materials, hosting informative events, and analyzing data to enhance provider education, ultimately aiming to minimize billing errors. Your contributions will help providers navigate the intricacies of the Medicare program and stay informed about important changes, protecting the Medicare Trust Fund. Salary Range $60,000 - $95,000 Please note that compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and may fall outside of this range. Work Location This position offers remote work flexibility in several approved states. Is This Opportunity Right for You? You have a background working with Medicare. You excel at fostering positive relationships with healthcare providers and medical staff. You enjoy planning and delivering educational sessions and training tailored to the needs of providers. You are skilled at analyzing error data and understanding Medicare regulations to identify areas needing further education. You take pleasure in conducting outreach activities to engage providers and raise awareness about our initiatives. You have experience collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to address provider challenges effectively. You are keen to serve as a reliable resource for providers regarding policy updates and billing procedures. You can coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective communication of identified issues. You would like to establish and maintain a Provider Outreach & Education Advisory Group to enhance our education strategies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Health Education, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of experience supporting Medicare. Minimum of 1 year specifically in Medicare communications. Experience in creating educational materials and presentations. Extensive knowledge of Medicare Part A, Part B, and/or Home Health and Hospice program guidelines. Solid understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technology platforms for training delivery. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. Willing to travel for on-site training and education sessions, with travel expected to be about 15% in the future. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of CMS regulations regarding the Home Health and Hospice program. Experience in facilitating and presenting to large groups. Familiarity with MAC contractor experience and related systems. Remote Work Requirements Must have a wired (ethernet) connection from your router to your computer. High-speed cable or fiber internet is required. A minimum connection speed of 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream is necessary. Benefits Options for remote and hybrid work.
