Education Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications Obtained ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of joining the facility. Maintain ongoing certification throughout your career.
