Who They Are We have been retained by a locally owned, industry-leading building materials supplier that's succession planning for retirement by adding a Commercial Estimator to the team. They're looking for someone with a lumber or structural framing background who's experienced in multifamily, commercial, or light residential estimating and take-offs. If you're an Estimator or Truss/Panel Designer with material take-off experience using MiTek or PlanSwift, this could be a great fit! What You'll Do Perform building material take-offs for commercial designs Review construction documents and understand materials to bid Provide training for contractors in compiling specifications and material use What You'll Need 2+ years of education in architectural design or a comparable degree Understanding of building design, building materials, and construction terms Knowledge of building codes
