BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WORKFORCE SPECIALIST

Description Provide individual and/or group supported pre-vocational skills training services to Fairfax Community Service Board referrals (Northern Virginia region). Adheres to the IPS Supported Employment model of service delivery. Provide individual and/or group supported job development and placement services to Fairfax Community Service Board referrals (Northern Virginia region). Adheres to the IPS Supported Employment model of service delivery. Provide individual and/or group supported follow along support services to Fairfax Community Service Board referrals (Northern Virginia region). Adheres to the IPS Supported Employment model of service delivery. Provide Supported Education services, as assigned. Prepares, completes, and files vocational plans, case notes, progress reports, and other documentation as required by Melwood and the Fairfax Community Services Board (FFX CSB) for comprehensive case record maintenance according to Melwood & FFX CSB policies and procedures, and as directed by specific project compliance standards, including the IPS model. Maintains all updated required Melwood and Fairfax County CSB trainings, including IPS model training (Individual Placement & Support model). Provide timely service coordination with the IRTT team and referral sources. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelors degree Behavioral Health; Psychology and/or Human Services required. Licensure: QMHP preferred (Quality Mental Health Professional) Traveling based on participant needs to be provided in the community as designated in the Northern Virginia region. Work hours flexible. Can be infrequent, but as needed based on participant needs.
