Senior Relationship Manager Los Angeles, CA About the Opportunity Join our team as a Senior Relationship Manager, where you will play a critical role in acquiring and managing small business and personal relationships within a designated area. Collaborate closely with RBC US Wealth Management Financial Advisors to leverage the full capabilities of City National Bank, making a tangible impact on clients’ financial success. This role is anchored in market interactions, fostering strong, trust-based relationships with RBC Wealth Management Financial Advisors and other partners to drive qualified client introductions. With a focus on providing tailored financial advice, you will address client needs effectively while presenting CNB's suite of services and solutions. Your Key Responsibilities: Proactively acquire and manage new small business and personal relationships, while nurturing existing client portfolios to meet and exceed sales goals related to deposits, lending, and fee income. Develop and implement strategic plans for engaging RBC USWM Financial Advisors and internal partners, ensuring high-quality client introductions through thorough education and follow-up. Build and deepen relationships within your portfolio through collaborative efforts and cross-selling opportunities. Deliver an exceptional client experience by accurately addressing client needs and resolving any issues that arise, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery. Commit to professional growth by enhancing your banking acumen and sales practices through collaboration and training initiatives. Gain a holistic understanding of each client's needs, using insights and data to provide impactful financial strategies and solutions. Adhere to strict risk management protocols and compliance regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to your role. Foster professional relationships by engaging in civic and community activities, contributing positively to our reputation and outreach. Monitor and manage a diverse banking portfolio, identifying potential issues, ensuring appropriate documentation, and facilitating portfolio growth. What You Need to Succeed: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 10 years of direct sales experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience within a financial institution. Preferred Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of banking products for personal and business clients, particularly those tailored for small businesses. Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the banking environment. Ability to analyze economic factors that may impact client financial health. Proficient in reviewing business financial statements for insightful advisory. Skilled in negotiation to balance the needs of the bank and the client. Familiarity with CNB's operational policies and regulatory obligations. What We Offer: Starting base salary range: $92,114 - $156,880 per year, with eligibility for bonuses or commissions based on performance.
