Job Overview: As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) at Glenkirk, you will assume a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized service plans, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life and promoting independence. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in program coordination, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to person-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Individualized Service Planning: Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized service plans (ISP) in collaboration with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure that ISP goals align with clients' preferences, needs, and overall well-being. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and audits. Client Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and preferences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Collaborate with clients and their families to address concerns and facilitate communication with the interdisciplinary team. Program Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the delivery of services, ensuring that they are consistent with individualized service plans and regulatory requirements. Monitor program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement. Staff Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to direct support professionals and other relevant staff. Facilitate training sessions to ensure staff competency and adherence to established standards. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures, including regular assessments, audits, and outcome evaluations. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, etc.) required. Certification as a QIDP or eligibility for QIDP certification. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Benefits: Annual salary of $45,000. Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
