REGIONAL MANAGER Reports To: Director of Operations Summary The Regional Manager plays a key role in driving sales and profitability through effective financial management and leadership. This position provides guidance and support to Restaurant General Managers, ensuring the successful operation of multiple locations. Compliance with Burger King Corporation standards, as well as local, state, and federal laws, is paramount. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to: Assisting in the annual preparation of sales projections and budget management. Coordinating capital projects and maintenance work efficiently and within budget guidelines to maximize profits. Monitoring financial outcomes regularly and addressing discrepancies in P&L statements as needed. Ensuring all restaurants consistently meet or exceed operational and quality standards. Conducting regular visits to evaluate management performance and identify areas for improvement. Establishing at least one restaurant as a Training Restaurant, collaborating with the training department to ensure management teams receive necessary certifications. Responding swiftly to customer complaints, monitoring call volume, and implementing appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary. Overseeing management staffing levels, retention strategies, and turnover rates. Conducting performance reviews and addressing any labor efficiency concerns. Regularly monitoring Internal Audit Controls to ensure compliance with safety, cash control policies, and Health Department regulations. Documenting performance and conducting investigations for any irregularities. Offering coaching to enhance management performance and holding monthly team meetings for operational planning and staff development. Implementing and maintaining marketing programs while staying alert to competitive trends in the industry. Supervisory Scope of Responsibilities The Regional Manager is responsible for the overall direction and evaluation of 5-7 units. Duties include interviewing, hiring, training employees, and addressing employee relations issues. RESOLVE A strong desire to positively impact people’s lives and a passion for the QSR industry are crucial. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, coupled with 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent QSR expertise. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to listen, influence others, and present information effectively. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Capability in processing Profit and Loss Analysis, Labor Analysis, Inventory Control, and Food Cost calculations. REASONING ABILITY The Regional Manager should demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to solve complex problems common within the QSR sector. LEADERSHIP SKILLS Strong ability to build high-performance teams, develop management leadership skills, and articulate a unified vision. COMPUTER SKILLS Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to quickly understand new technological systems. LICENSE A valid driver's license and current car insurance are required, as is being at least 18 years of age. TRAVEL/SCHEDULE This position requires travel to assigned locations totaling approximately 60% of the time. Flexibility for evening and weekend work is necessary. COMPENSATION Compensation is based on experience and includes performance-based bonuses and benefits. BACKGROUND CHECK Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as a condition of employment. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment consists of indoor and outdoor settings, with potential exposure to various environmental conditions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to stand, communicate effectively, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
