Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title:  RN MS Tele Location: Rochester, NY 14626 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Requirements: 1+ Yrs. of exp. BLS, NIHSS Required. EPIC Preferred Description: BLS Required MS/Tele Required Work Settings Required: MS/Tele, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions Patient Diagnoses: cardiac disease, stroke, infection, pain, PE Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in) -We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living -We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines Special Equipment: bladder scanners, tele, EKG machines, lifepacks Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N) They will try but not guaranteed Float Required: MS, ED, ICU (stable patients), acute brain injury (stable Patients) Years of Experience Required: 1 year First time travelers accepted Every other weekend required EPIC is preferred Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No RTO Restrictions: Please keep RTO close to 1 week Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule?
