About the RoleWe are hiring MRB Liaison Design Engineers and Aerostructure Design Engineers for a leading aerospace engineering services program supporting large commercial aircraft platforms.This role is focused on aircraft structural design (exteriors / aerostructures)Location: Allen, TX OR Wichita, KSExperience: 5-15 yearsKey Focus AreasMRB / Non-Conformance Disposition:Review and provide technical dispositions: use-as-is, rework, repair, scrapWork within FAA and OEM delegated authority requirementsStrong understanding of aircraft repair methods and production processesLiaison Engineering:Act as a bridge between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and SuppliersDrive closure of non-conformances and production issuesManage cross-functional teams to resolve engineering and production challengesDocumentation & Compliance:Process ECR/ECOsMaintain compliance with regulatory standards (FAA, AS9100)Maintain detailed records for audits and certificationMust-Have SkillsExperience in Aerostructure / Aircraft Structural Design (Exteriors only)MRB Disposition experience (Concessions, Tags, Quality Notifications)Strong hands-on experience with CATIA (or similar CAD tools)Liaison Engineering experience managing cross-functional teamsBackground in Mechanical / Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering5-15 years of aircraft experience (OEMs or major aerospace programs preferred)We are not considering profiles that are limited to MRB quality or manufacturing experience without design ownership for this role.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace EngineeringStrong knowledge of:Aircraft structures and repair designCAD tools (CATIA preferred; SolidWorks acceptable)PLM / Engineering systems (e.g., DOORS, SAP - good to have)Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
