As a key member of our Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services (IAAS) team, you will contribute to developing this dynamic service area, providing solutions that drive effective business operations. Your expertise will support clients in navigating growth hurdles, managing risks, and optimizing expenses. Your key responsibilities Assist Client Engagement teams with various actuarial tasks including financial modeling, loss reserving, regulatory reporting, product development, and pricing analysis. Participate in projects involving litigation support, customer analytics, and rate setting, utilizing your analytical skills. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex problems and deliver valuable business insights that inform strategic decisions. Skills and attributes for success To be considered for this role, you should possess: A bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics, or a related field, with a strong academic record. Completion of at least 2 actuarial exams is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Internship experience in the actuarial field is highly desirable. Access to reliable transportation for travel to EY offices and client locations as required. A willingness to travel and adapt to project demands, including working beyond standard hours. Ideally, you will have: A growth mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and a collaborative attitude. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with a grounding in business and technology. Familiarity with programming languages such as Excel VBA, R, or Python.
