Unarmed Security Officer

Headquartered in Stockton, CA, we pride ourselves on being a full-service, state-licensed security company. Mandatory Position Qualifications: Possess a valid Current State of Texas Guard Card. Must be willing and able to complete additional training as required. Hold a Current Texas Driver's License with no DMV points (if driving for company or client). Minimum age of 18 years. Basic Hiring Requirements for Unarmed Position: One (1) year of experience as an Unarmed Security Officer is required. Open to flexible work schedules. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must have reliable transportation. For prior military experience, a valid Discharge Form DD214 must be presented upon job offer. Able to clearly hear and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and able to pass any required Job Physical examinations. Successful completion of all necessary training and certifications is mandatory. Capable of operating a cellphone and/or portable two-way radio. Proven ability to interact positively and effectively with the public. Primary Job Responsibilities: Conduct foot patrols of designated areas. Observe and monitor site conditions that may pose security risks or safety hazards. Utilize TrackTik Software for reporting via smartphones, tablets, or computers. Respond to alarms and notify the police or fire department in emergencies. Issue verbal warnings for rule violations. Manage access to property and permit entry for authorized persons. Deter theft and enforce property removal regulations. Investigate incidents and create detailed reports for accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Maintain a professional demeanor while assisting customers, employees, and visitors courteously. Job Skills Required: Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office. Strong oral and written communication abilities. Active listening capabilities. Effective assessment and evaluation skills. Ability to identify and quickly mitigate escalating conditions. Environment: Work may be indoors or in outdoor parking and landscape areas. Temperature ranges can vary from moderate to extreme based on location and season. Major Activity: This position requires providing a visual deterrent through walking, stationary surveillance, and interacting with individuals while monitoring changing conditions and ongoing site activities. Physical Job Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Light lifting of up to 25 lbs periodically may be necessary.
