Temporary Registered Nurse

Position: Temporary Registered Nurse Contract length: 60 days Location: Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. Hours per Week: 40 hours per week. Scope of Work: 1. Participates in the medical examination of students. 2. Screens patients and refers them to Cancer Physician, Dentist, Health and Wellness Manager or Career Counselor. 3. Observe, records and reports patient vital signs, symptoms and behaviour. 4. Performs first aid treatment as needed. 5. Assist the physician with patient examination; prepare patients for tests and examinations. 6. Provide guidance to students in matters of personal health hygiene. 7. Prepares and administers prescribed medications as directed. 8. Maintain medical equipments and inventory of supplies and medications 9. Maintain accurate medical records. 10. Provides input for case management of student health issues. 11. Promotes projects that support health and safety throughout the center. 12. Oversee the CMHC schedule.
