Structural Engineer

Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Structural Engineer in the Raleigh NC area Responsibilities: • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met. Projects range from additions to historical remodels to new high end luxury homes. • Obtain relevant information at onsite consultations and field meetings, use field collected data for problem solving and design changes during construction. • Interpret sealed engineering drawings and confirm compliance with field framing • Incorporate wood, reinforced concrete, and steel into designs. • Develop and implement structural system designs using AutoCAD • Prepare construction documentation for new plans and reports for field work and inspections Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Must hold NC EI or PE Certification or have passed EI exam and be in process of obtaining certification. • 0 to 2 years experience in structural engineering design. • Candidate must have strong math, analytical skills, communication, writing skills with an understanding of structural engineering fundamentals. • Experience with wood, structural steel, and reinforced concrete design, or has completed courses related to these materials • AutoCAD experience preferred If interested apply online or email resumes to Apply
