Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop a unified care approach. Provide education for patients and families to facilitate progress beyond clinical settings. Engage in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout patients' rehabilitation journeys. Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of field advancements through ongoing education and professional collaboration. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for all age groups, with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adept at tailoring therapy techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
