Requisition ID: 43424BR Business Unit: TSU Join Our Team as a Senior Construction Management Specialist! Are you passionate about overseeing construction projects and ensuring they run smoothly? As a Senior Construction Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing construction activities for small to medium-sized projects or larger contracts involving multiple projects. You will lead day-to-day activities, guide construction representatives, and coordinate key aspects of project execution. Your responsibilities will include: Familiarizing yourself with project contract documents to effectively manage critical path method (CPM), scheduling, and claims administration. Interpreting plans and specifications for clients, contractors, and field personnel. Identifying and communicating project deficiencies and risks, including potential cost overruns and materials issues. Preparing and maintaining comprehensive reports, including monthly progress updates and daily activity logs. Providing direction to professionals in developing project-related shop drawings, ensuring coordination with all stakeholders. Offering consultative services on government regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Performing other duties as needed to support project success. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field. A minimum of 4 years of related experience; equivalent additional experience may substitute for a degree. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by project demands. Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical knowledge of process mechanical systems and masonry/concrete construction, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications. Why Work with Us? Additional Information: Amount of Travel Required: 10% Fulltime-Regular position; visa sponsorship not available. Background checks and drug testing may be required as part of the hiring process.
