Summary: The Data Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely creation and governance of item data within the organization's Master Data Management function. This includes creating new item data, bills of materials (BOMs), and managing item data integrity across systems such as JDE and Blue Steel. Reporting to the Data Coordinator, the Analyst supports cross-functional teams through the execution of data setup processes and the use of project management software. This position contributes directly to accurate planning, costing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales reporting by maintaining data standards and driving data governance. Essential Functions Manage item and BOM creation projects using current project management systems and established procedures. Create and maintain JDE Item Master data to ensure accurate support for planning, cost of goods sold (COGS), manufacturing, quality control, and sales reporting. Build and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials and associated routings in JDE and Blue Steel, using HQMS where applicable. Ensure accuracy of item and BOM data setup in BSI to support downstream business needs. Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to provide guidance on proper data setup and management. Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to represent Master Data Management. Process Product Data Requests (PDRs) as needed. Support BSI pricing requests, including after-hours and weekend pricing updates when required. Maintain departmental standards for data accuracy and consistency. Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical and data management skills Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically JDE (JD Edwards) Familiarity with Blue Steel and HQMS or similar data/project management tools Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Effective cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving abilities Organizational and time management skills Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in master data management, item creation, or supply chain operations Experience using JDE, Blue Steel, or similar ERP and data systems Experience with manufacturing environments and understanding of BOMs and routings Required Education and Experience Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience 1 year of relevant work experience in master data management, supply chain, or ERP data entry A combination of education and experience may meet the requirement. Supervisory Responsibility: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention. Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee's manager. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.
