Job Summary: The Lead Field Service Technician (NETA 3) will function as the project lead technician responsible for performing complex inspections, data collection, and testing on de-energized locked out/tagged out equipment. Duties include setup and removal of test equipment, ensuring the safety of team members, switching evaluations, report writing, and troubleshooting. Supervisory Responsibilities: Mentor project co-lead technicians and NETA field technicians. Ensure project success from initiation to completion, including final reports. Duties/Responsibilities: Measurements: Conduct advanced electrical measurements and accurately record data. Project Management: Lead project execution and supervise field technicians while providing mentorship. Report Writing: Draft detailed reports on testing results, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions. Test Equipment: Oversee the setup and teardown of test equipment, ensuring proper handling, maintenance, and cleanliness. Additional responsibilities as required to support organizational goals. Attributes/Abilities: Clear background/MVR check. Ability to pass drug tests. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Understanding of electrical theory and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and task prioritization. Experience and Education: High school diploma/GED required; Associate's degree from an accredited technical college preferred. Preferred NETA certification level 3. 5+ years of relevant experience. OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid trained experience is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work occasional overtime. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must wear appropriate PPE including an arc-flash suit, safety glasses, hard hat, and more. Ability to work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces.
