KPMG is looking for a highly experienced director to enhance our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive firm-wide policies and procedures ensuring that our compliance programs meet regulatory expectations and align with industry best practices. Establish robust governance structures to facilitate the consistent execution and oversight of compliance initiatives, including Compliance Operations. Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments, revising ethics and compliance policies, training, processes, and controls as needed. Conduct thorough evaluations of compliance programs, assessing their effectiveness and implementing monitoring plans to guarantee adherence to established standards and regulations. Continuously assess the ethics and compliance program, identifying strategic gaps and enhancing opportunities for improvement. Support the Chief Executive Compliance Officer (CECO) by preparing insightful reports to keep management and the board of directors informed about the effectiveness of KPMG's Ethics & Compliance programs. Maintain the principles of integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability within our positive workplace culture. Qualifications: At least ten years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields; experience in professional services or regulated industries is a plus. A Master's degree, Juris Doctor, or an advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologies. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights to management. Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship.
