As an Alarm Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational excellence for our security systems at client locations. This position focuses on addressing post-installation service requests, troubleshooting issues, and undertaking special project work as needed. Key Responsibilities: Respond promptly to trouble tickets to maintain system performance and application uptime. Work both independently and collaboratively to diagnose and resolve application and equipment issues. Execute preventative maintenance tasks to enhance system reliability and identify any potential faults. Perform routine configuration updates, including user permissions and system configurations. Document all system modifications meticulously via a digital change control tracking system. Create high-quality technical documentation for effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Conduct comprehensive pre-deployment testing for all upgrades and significant modifications. Install software upgrades and significant modifications on-site. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment. In-depth knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion, and fire alarm systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Understanding of IP addressing and related equipment. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Outstanding time management skills. Positive attitude and robust work ethic.
