A typical day for a Registered Nurse includes: Delivering top-tier care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Providing medically prescribed services such as ventilator and tracheotomy care, g-tube feedings, medication administration, and first aid care. Overseeing compassionate and qualified LPNs and caregivers. Coordinating client care with healthcare professionals. Ensuring compliance with care plans and state guidelines. Fostering personal independence and meaningful living for clients. Training and developing caregivers and front-line staff. Assisting with additional branch operations as needed. Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and DDID Medication Administration training. A current Nursing License.
