In your role as a Senior Tax Specialist, you will empower clients to make confident and informed decisions about their finances while developing strong relationships that will endure over time. As part of our expert team, you will assist clients with diverse tax needs, receiving advanced training to ensure your success in this seasonal position. What We Value... Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent certification Proven experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax Experience conducting virtual tax interviews Proficiency in tax planning and audit support Sales and/or marketing experience Your Contributions Will Include... Conducting tax interviews with clients in person and online via video, phone, chat, and email Preparing complete and accurate tax returns Driving business growth, enhancing client retention, and recommending additional products and services Providing clients with IRS support All certification levels can offer tax notice services Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation Mentoring and supporting team members Successfully completing the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment Demonstrating experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax Completing individual returns Thriving in a fast-paced environment Adapting to work with virtual tools effectively Communicating clearly and effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing Meeting IRS and applicable state requirements Having a high school diploma or equivalent or higher Why Join Us?
