About the Role: We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our New Logo Acquisition Team. In this key role, you will spearhead the effort to attract new customers by showcasing Confluent’s market-leading data streaming platform. You will employ your skills in prospecting, consultative selling, and transaction execution to identify opportunities, address real business challenges, and deliver lasting value to our clients. Your Responsibilities: Manage the complete sales cycle for new logos in your designated Enterprise territory, from prospecting through to deal closure. Actively qualify and engage potential customers to create and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Craft and present customized value propositions that resonate with client needs and connect to their business outcomes. Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineers and Services teams to create tailored solutions and ensure smooth customer onboarding post-sale. Utilize strategic sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) to effectively structure deals, forecast accurately, and close transactions confidently. Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders, fostering trust and credibility. Work alongside cross-functional teams in marketing, business development, and channel partnerships to fully leverage your territory's potential. Stay updated on Confluent’s offerings and trends in the data infrastructure landscape. Travel when necessary to engage with customers and advance deals. Your Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers. Proven track record in a consultative, solution-focused sales environment within technology sectors, particularly SaaS, cloud, or big data. Experience with structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.). History of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets. Highly developed communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities; skilled at managing multiple priorities in complex sales scenarios. A collaborative spirit, integrity, and a desire to contribute positively to our team culture. Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
