RRT | Registered Respiratory Therapist - New Graduate

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Southeastern United States as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. This full-time role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care across various modalities, responding promptly to resuscitation and respiratory emergencies, and maintaining accurate patient and departmental documentation. You may also serve as a charge therapist when required. Education and Formal Training Candidates must have graduated from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Care Program, hold registration from the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT), and possess licensure from the NCRCB. Additionally, BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required. Experience Clinical experience is essential, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care techniques. The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while interacting professionally with patients, colleagues, and visitors is critical. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Applicants should be familiar with the psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs of patients across all age groups, from infants to adults, to provide tailored care and interventions. Strong communication skills, manual dexterity for equipment operation, visual acuity, and physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist patients are necessary.
