Join Our Team as a Lead Internal Audit Innovator! We're looking for a dynamic leader to help transform our Internal Audit function! In this essential role, you will collaborate with key executives to enhance our internal audit initiatives and drive strategic integration of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) into audit processes. Your goal will be to strengthen risk management across our three lines of defense, establishing the audit function as a proactive, insight-driven collaborator. You'll also spearhead continuous improvement efforts to standardize and optimize Internal Audit methodologies, devoting approximately 25% of your time to conducting data-driven assurance and advisory projects. Key Responsibilities: Drive strategic initiatives that enhance Internal Audit's role as a proactive risk partner across the organization. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment of audit activities with enterprise risks and business objectives. Lead the integration of AI through the entire audit lifecycle, from risk assessment to final reporting. Design and implement initiatives for process standardization and ongoing improvement to elevate audit operations. Utilize modern technology and data analytics to refine and enhance audit methodologies. Plan and conduct risk-based, data-driven audits and advisory engagements, leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights. Manage Internal Audit staffing programs strategically to facilitate meaningful rotations and developmental experiences. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, sharing insights to continually refine audit methodologies. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or 5 years if in a GE Aerospace leadership development program). Preferred experience within audit contexts. Desired Characteristics: Additional credentials such as CPA/CA, CIA, CFA, CISA, or similar are a plus. Strategic thinker, able to align audit operations with organizational goals for long-term value and innovation. Proven track record of leading process optimization and transformation initiatives. Strong executive presence with effective communication skills for stakeholder influence. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time. Experience with Flight Deck fundamentals is an advantage. Proficiency in Alteryx is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary range of $119,000 - $158,000, with actual pay depending on experience, education, and skills. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary. Applications for this position will be accepted until 2/9/26.
