Mechanical Engineer

• Serve as part of the Engineering Helpdesk, providing day-to-day customer support engineering for internal teams and external customer-facing needs • Assess incoming engineering work requests within 24 hours, determine ownership, and prioritize based on urgency and impact • Support external customer-related issues, including Rapid response to product failures or field issues o Identifying and correcting design gaps or product offering issues (e.g., component visibility, system functionality) • Perform deep root cause analysis using disciplined problem-solving methodologies (including 8D) - no surface-level or "service-only" fixes • Develop and implement both short-term corrective actions and long-term design improvements • Contribute to new technology development, supporting projects from idea and concept through design, validation, and production • Collaborate cross-functionally with test technicians, electrical engineers, manufacturing, and other engineering teams • Act as a key connector ("the glue") to help move solutions forward efficiently and effectively We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
