The Child Neurology Group is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Healthcare Practice Administrator to enhance our dedicated team! This role involves a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday. We are looking for a candidate who possesses prior healthcare experience, outstanding customer service skills, and strong business acumen. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership abilities and be capable of effectively guiding and developing teams. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing all day-to-day office operations, including patient registration, telephone reception, appointment scheduling, referrals, and supplies management. Coordinating, scheduling, implementing, and recommending training and staff development initiatives. Organizing and enhancing productivity reports for administrative staff and healthcare providers. Compiling and analyzing data on patient outcomes, quality assurance, goal achievements, work studies, and addressing performance issues. Accurately preparing payroll in a timely manner, adhering to Community Care procedures. Assisting in creating provider schedules within our EMR/PM systems and preparing software templates. Ensuring a secure working environment that prioritizes patient confidentiality and medical information privacy. Collaborating with the Site Medical Manager and Human Resources on employee relations, recruitment, benefits management, corrective action, and terminations, in accordance with established Community Care policies. Facilitating the credentialing process for all practitioners at the site with administrative staff. Working alongside administrative and laboratory teams to resolve demographic and billing discrepancies. Partnering with providers and administrative staff to ensure compliance in coding and charge entry. Qualifications include: A Bachelor's degree in health or business administration is preferred. Five years of medical office experience, with three years in a supervisory or management role in the healthcare sector. Experience in clinical management as an RN or LPN is strongly preferred. Effective communication skills for responding to patient inquiries, maintaining high standards of service. Demonstrating a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and capability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining cooperative relationships while delivering quality services. Proficient understanding of medical billing and computer systems and applications. Ability to foster positive relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
